Some interesting facts about Irish audience on Facebook

I was doing a quick research for some Ads when I noticed the following data on Facebook:

Ireland from 18 yrs old Male All 519,500
Ireland from 18 yrs old Female All 614,470

Which means that about 60% of the Irish people on Facebook is composed by Irish women (It can of course be a foreign living in Ireland so set the location as Ireland).

Then it comes...
Ireland from 18 yrs old Male In a relationship 85,620
Ireland from 18 yrs old Female In a relationship 117,440

This means that there’s a plus 30% on Irish female in a relationship. They could be either lying or in a relationship with someone else who's not Irish. Otherwise, Irish men are lying as they don't want to share their status on Facebook! :)

But then, look at the next level before you fall into a marriage:

Ireland 18-35 Male Engaged 39,160
Ireland 18-35 Female Engaged 24,700

Yes! There are more Irish men engaged than women… so... what happened with the relationships? They could have either broke up before the engagement or the male audience are probably settling up their eternal relations (isn't it a engagement/marriage?) with foreigners!
